Upcoming Road Closures and Construction Projects
Public Works will be performing several road improvements in the coming weeks that will require temporary road closures. We ask for the public's patience and cooperation during these necessary infrastructure repairs. A Variable Message Sign (VMS) board will be placed at each location to notify travelers. Road Closures and Traffic Delays: 2025:
Pepper Road
- Public Works will be closing Pepper Road on Tuesday, August 19 through Friday, August 22nd for a pipe replacement. The closure will be between Preston Road & Laurel Grove Road. A VMS board will be placed at Laurel Grove Road to advise citizens and motorist of the closure. All work is weather permitting. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve the County’s Road Infrastructure.
2025 Line Striping List:
Caroline County will begin its 2025 Line Striping Project on August 11th, with an expected completion timeline of one week, weather permitting. The list includes approximately 12 roads across the county. Please plan accordingly for potential delays or detours in these areas during the work period. Below is list of the roads:- Cut Off Road
