Afterschool Programs

Originally, March 9 - 12 was a "No Afterschool" week so that staff could attend a conference. In order to make up for snow days, we WILL now be operating the program on the week of March 9 - 12.

ALL OF OUR SPACES AT THE GES & FES AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS ARE CURRENTLY FULL. ANY NEW REGISTRATIONS WILL BE PLACED ON A WAITLIST.

Lifelong Learning Center (LLC) Afterschool Programs

This comprehensive education and recreation enrichment program is grant-funded through the Human Services Council at Denton Elementary and through Caroline County Public Schools at Federalsburg and Greensboro Elementary and reflects a productive partnership between this department and Caroline County Public Schools.

The LLCs operate at Denton Elementary, Federalsburg Elementary and Greensboro Elementary. We serve students in grades 3 - 5 at DES & FES and students in grades 2 - 5 at GES. Programs include academic enrichment and recreation programming during immediate after school hours. This is NOT a homework program, although student's are given the option to complete/ask for homework help if they so choose. Students are served a light supper and receive school bus transportation home. The program is supported by additional community partnerships through Caroline County Public Schools, Maryland 4H programs and CCPS Food Services.
